About Us

Originally from North Carolina, I have proudly called Madison County home for more than 13 years. My professional background spans nonprofit management, customer service, and community engagement, with a passion for building relationships and creating meaningful experiences.

Before launching DeRose Travel Company, a Cruise Planners franchise, in 2019, I worked in The Ohio State University Alumni Tours office, where I planned travel experiences, engaged with alumni, and escorted groups on journeys around the world. That experience gave me a deep appreciation for the power of travel to educate, connect, and inspire.

Today, DeRose Travel Company specializes in cruise vacations while also providing expert planning for international travel, escorted group tours, theme park vacations, travel insurance, and customized itineraries. As my business has grown, I have expanded my team to include four active independent contract associates, allowing us to serve more clients while maintaining a high level of personalized service.

In addition to working directly with travelers, I recently launched a travel blog that has grown to more than 1,000 monthly readers. Through destination guides, travel tips, and firsthand experiences, I enjoy helping travelers plan with confidence and inspiring others to explore the world.

Since starting my business, I have been honored with Cruise Planners' Anchor Award and recognized by Travel Weekly as a Rising STAR. I am committed to providing exceptional service, building lasting client relationships, and supporting the Madison County business community through collaboration, education, and a shared passion for helping others create unforgettable travel experiences.
